Finalist Team – Digitoe

Digitoe Limited is an HKU-founded healthtech startup transforming foot and gait health through smart wearable technology and artificial intelligence. Millions of people live with undetected gait abnormalities and foot conditions that, if left unmanaged, lead to chronic pain, postural problems, and reduced mobility. Digitoe addresses this gap by turning everyday walking into actionable, data-driven insights.

Our core product is an AI‑powered smart insole embedded with high‑precision pressure sensors that capture real-time plantar pressure distribution and biomechanical gait metrics. The collected data are processed through proprietary cloud algorithms to detect abnormalities, monitor rehabilitation progress, and support custom insole design. This enables early intervention, personalised care, and continuous tracking for children, adults, and elderly users.

Digitoe aims to work closely with hospitals and R&D centres to build clinically validated solutions for clinics, schools, elderly care, and sports settings. Recognised in major competitions such as Samsung Solve for Tomorrow and HKTDC Startup Express, Digitoe aims to become a leading platform for digital gait health in Asia while empowering users to improve mobility, comfort, and long‑term foot health.
