CultraQuest

Our product is inspired by the idea of Pokemon Go, a popular game created in 2016. In our app, every user can create their own custom avatar. Furthermore, heritage items are displayed in our map using GPS technology. Our app also comprises a video and brief description in every heritage site, participants can attempt unique missions such as online Q&A about different specific locations, and take photos near various well-known spots. Users would be awarded a virtual currency, CultraBucks if questions are correctly answered. Subsequently, CultraBucks can be used to buy different cosmetics, story modes. What’s more, to revel in a better gaming experience, users could also unlock ‘Freemium’ subscription, allowing passionate users to unlock exclusive functions such as Augmented Reality(AR) and audio narration. We also plan to implement local tours, in which users can participate in local one-day tours at a discounted price, for instance paying a visit to renowned places like Viva Blue House and Wan Chai Pak Tai Temple accompanied with our competent tour guides.

In order to reach a gargantuan amount of players, a splendid array of promotion strategies will be used. To begin with, we will utilize social media to promote our app through advertisements. Moreover, we will collaborate with local stores to give users e-vouchers to enjoy discounts that could be used in local shops when they download our app. Last but not least, we will collaborate with schools to organize school tours to various cultural heritages. During the tour, students will use our app to compete in an intra-school competition for free workshops.
