Neckmate is an innovative AI-enabled smart collar that monitors pets’ physiological and behavioral health in real-time. It tracks key metrics including heart rate, and exercise levels to provide users with pet emotions. In fast-paced Hong Kong, pets are frequently left alone for over 10 hours daily due to long working hours. This contributes to widespread problems: separation anxiety affecting ~15% of dogs, excessive barking linked to 20% of noise complaints, increased abandonment risks. Neckmate, with its companion app, provides owners with early warnings and offers them a portal into the mental state of pets.

Neckmate delivers comprehensive solutions through 2 core modules:

1. Physiological Monitoring — Advanced sensors (optical heart rate, infrared thermometer, 6-axis accelerometer) establish personalized health baselines and provide early alerts.

2. Emotion Recognition & Intervention — AI analyzes data to detect anxiety, pain, or depression, responding with owner notifications.
